Originally built in 1910, 111 West Graham Street has been home to a number of small businesses. And as expected, each business left a mark on the building adding layers of paint, plaster and masonite to the interior.
Hanging the Moon set out to expose the inherent beauty of the building returning the edifice to a more natural state where the original construction consisting of brick, concrete, iron and wood can be appreciated.
Unincorporated building materials resulting from the demolition of the interior space have been either reused where possible or donated to the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
